The Reverend Cynthia Alloway was called to the position of Associate Pastor for Missions and Pastoral Care in May, 2006. Cindy leads our programs in congregational care, community outreach, mission and fellowship. Cindy provides pastoral care counseling and regularly leads and participates in worship.

Cindy worked for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office where she was a Forensic Nurse and Coordinator of the Sexual Assault Response Team. She has worked as a psychiatric nurse therapist and as a parish nurse. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa, a Master of Science in Mental Health Nursing from UC San Francisco and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.  Currently she is pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Science and Theology at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Pastor Cindy is married to Dr. Ken Culver.  They have three children: Ryan, a podiatrist; Ian, a Coast Guard helicopter pilot; and Kathryn, who attends UC Irvine.  Cindy and Ken are co-founders of the Foundation for Peace, which provides assistance to those in need in Kenya, the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
