Men's Breakfasts
Men’s Breakfasts are a fellowship event for men in the church and their guests. The purpose is to allow men to gather, take a deep breath from the hectic pace of our modern lives, take time to get to know other men and share time together in a casual atmosphere. The event includes a cooked breakfast followed by test a short devotional time and a presentation on a wide variety of topics.

The breakfasts have traditionally been held on selected Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. in the Parish House. However, the group is looking to accommodate as many of the men as possible, so times may change periodically. There is no regular schedule of breakfasts. When the Men’s Breakfasts organizing group identifies a good program, a Saturday is selected and announcements are circulated.
We try to find programs that men would find stimulating and relevant. Recent breakfasts have included topics such as:
- How to Survive the Economic Meltdown
- Operation Bling Charitable Organization
- Writing Effective Emails
- Stories of Lincoln and His Generals Never Before Told
- Data Mining For Fun and Profit
- Being a Good Steward of Our Resources is Good Business
If you would like to participate, either by helping to organize a program, cooking the breakfast or just attending, please contact Stan for more information.
