From July 23 to August 1, 2008, the Foundation for Peace is taking the village of Zumbon in the Dominican Republic by storm! We will be continuing the work begun on the Zumbon Church last year by our Morristown Presbyterian Church Mission Team. Last year, the first floor was dug out, pillars were built and cement was made and poured for classrooms. This year, we will build onto the second floor of the Zumbon church which will be used for a new sanctuary. You can join us and gain the tremendous satisfaction others have had as part of a mission trip. You will be working with church friends and hand in hand with the Dominican community, practicing your high school Spanish (not required!) and watching something new happening in the Zumbon church—and in your own heart. If you are interested, please contact Ken Culver at 973-252-7165 or ken@foundationforpeace.org as soon as possible. (We are looking to get the best airfare possible; some financial support will be available from the Outreach Committee.) Or you can sign up at the website: click on MISSION TRIPS at www.foundationforpeace.org.
Come and see what all the talk is about and what mission trips could mean for you!
