Bazaar
Market for Mission
Each October, the Presbyterian Women put on a festive bazaar to support the group's mission work. All three floors of the Parish House becomes a market place of shops, specialty areas, plus a huge basement flea market. "Shop 'til you drop" is the motto of the day for antiques, jewelry, home goods, books, electronics, kid things and much more!
This years bazaar was a hit! Tons of people came from far and wide to shop at the Bazaar. Many people found household item that they had been longing for but could not find a decent price, some found decorations for their homes, and others little trinkets for all ages. People enjoyed a break from the shopping frenzy with a delicious luncheon prepared by the church women.
This year the church Bazaar raised over $17,000! Proceeds will go to local mission - Community Soup Kitchen, Interfaith Food Pantry, Clothing Bank - and national/international PCUSA mission projects.
