Older Adult Ministry
The Older Adult Ministry Committee (OAM) serves as advocate for those in our congregation who are 65 years of age or older. The group has a two fold mission:
(1) To examine existing ministries for seniors and seek to strengthen them, and
(2) To review the needs of older adults in the congregation to envision programs and ministries that will meet these needs.
For information about this ministry or if you have comments or suggestions concerning ways we can evaluate and meet the needs of older members of our church, please contact Alexandra Mead, Director of Christian Education at email or 973-538-1776.
The Older Adult Ministry has put together a booklet to aid in collecting and recording important personal information. The booklet is designed to facilitate communication between you and your loved ones and to convey your wishes in the event of illness or death. It provides a ready reference for your survivors and/or executor to act on your behalf. It is hoped you will begin this process now so your loved ones can be partners with you in planning for the future.
