From the wanderings of our lives, we have come here to focus
our thoughts on things that are lasting, on what is lovely
and praiseworthy.
We hear a divine melody, we feel an inner pull.
It is God who draws us here and gives us a song to sing.
We have gathered in the shadow of the cross, the sign of God’s love
for all people.
But we also sing knowing that love now dances on an empty tomb.
We give thanks that love is stronger than death.
Now forgiveness flows, people can change and our hope is renewed.
God’s love is with all.
Let us sing God’s song, praising with hearts and voices.
