UNISON PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of birth, God of joy, God of life, we come to you as a people who are slow to embrace the new life you offer. We have been so dead to miracles that we have missed them happening around us. While the beautiful signs of spring’s renewal are revealed by you, we must confess our failures to bring fresh beauty to many parts of our lives. We have been so concerned with making a living that we have missed the resurrection life and its joy. Caught up in our own hopes and plans, we get crushed when they disappoint us, as though Christ had not been raised at all. Forgive us our faithlessness, O God, and help us learn how to live and share the new life you offer, through Jesus Christ. Amen.
