Bel Melodia Singers & Ringers

K - 2, Children’s Music
Contact: IAngulopizarro@pcmorristown.org

This is our youngest ensemble, which rehearses during the Midweek program on Wednesday afternoons in the Parish House. K - 2nd graders experience music through the use of games, movement, voices and instruments. We work on pitch matching, rhythmic concepts, basic service music and simple hymns. But most of all, we have fun. We lead worship on two-three Sundays and for the Pageant on Christmas Eve. Led by Ignacio Angulo-Pizarro (Mr. A-P).

Bel Canto Singers & Ringers

3rd - 5th Grade, Children’s Music
Contact: IAngulopizarro@pcmorristown.org

This choir continues the groundwork laid in Bel Melodia. We learn the fundamentals of voice production, proper breathing, and vocal techniques. Students begin to read both vocal and handbell music. We continue to improve rhythmic skills, coordination and teamwork. We begin the development of worship leadership, and of course, have fun. This choir rehearses during the Midweek program on Wednesdays in the Parish House. We lead worship on two-three Sundays, present a musical in February and for the Pageant on Christmas Eve. Led by Ignacio Angulo-Pizarro (Mr. A-P).

More information on the 22-23 season coming soon!

The Presbyterian Church in Morristown offers a wide range of musical events throughout the year. Our many choirs perform, and outside groups are invited to participate in worship, special services and concerts.

Austin Organ

The Austin organ at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown was originally built in 1960 as a three manual, 50-rank instrument. The organ was typical of the period: neo-classic scheme, small scales, light foundations. The entire instrument was installed at one level behind a magnificent 19th century case similar to the Mormon Tabernacle. The Austin organ went through significant tonal modifications in 1996 when refurbished from its original construction.
