Free Cooking Class- Chinese Style!

Making Dumplings in celebration of Chinese New Year.

Each month the Diversity Coalition of Morris County will feature a different cultural recipe demonstrated by friends and members of the DCMC food committee. The event will be about 45 minutes and there will be a moderator so that everyone can ask questions and follow along at home. After you RSVP, you will receive (1) a list of ingredients necessary for participation in the virtual cooking class and (2) a Zoom Link that will give you access to the live event on the 3rd Sunday of each month at 4PM. We encourage everyone to obtain the necessary ingredients beforehand and have them prepared in your kitchen before the class begins.

The class is free but registration is required.

Virtual Fellowship Hr. Welcoming Leslie!

Join us via Zoom for a virtual fellowship hour welcoming our Interim Sr. Pastor, Rev. Leslie Dobbs-Allsopp!

Grace and peace to you!
I’m pleased to begin serving as your Interim Pastor and Head of Staff this week. This will be my 7th interim “gig”, and I look forward to meeting and serving with you, even if it is in the virtual world right now. It’s fitting to begin ministry together during the season of Epiphany, which begins with Jesus’ baptism and focuses on his incarnation and the beginning of his earthly ministry. Epiphany is the season of light, and the season of beginnings. As the leader of two presbyteries (Elizabeth and New Brunswick) I’ve been privileged to accompany 78 congregations as they have navigated these pandemic times. There is not a one size fits all pandemic response manual for churches! I assure you that you are not behind, and together we will continue to pursue faithful pandemic responses that honor God and care for neighbors. I hope you will call me Leslie or Pastor Leslie. I hope you will feel free to email or call me. In the meantime I’ll see you soon on Our Friend Zoom!
Blessings,
Leslie Dobbs-Allsopp
